I'd check it out mechanical wise. Looks and all slicked up dont mean nothing to me. Might be 100% perfect mechanical saw with bruises. Rather have that then some pretty saw with issues. All JMO
The 460 was the most choked up of ANY of the 1128 series saws. Plenty of EPA influence on a stock 460. We all know what happens to a 460 once you let it breathe. It makes great gains with just a dual port muffler added. Now a 460 with an early 046 cylinder, HO oiler and the DP muffler, that might be the shining example of what the 1128's can be "stock".
I'd give $500 for that before $600 for a mint half wrap saw. The oiler and wrap handle are worth the risk on that for me.
I steer away from sales pitches on CL. IMO its a cover up for junk, or to take advantage of people that don't know.
I think with a like new bar n chain $500 is fair. $500 pho seems a bit high unless its Dex minty. I have seen some good buys on here. Keep in mind you can dress up a saw with a trashed inside with some hustle plastic and make it look new. But that won't cover recoil and crank case wear.
Thing about that saw is if the cases and bottom end is good the other parts would almost bring that by parting it out. It should be a decent runner coming from that shop from what I've been told about them.
