That's one of the reasons voting is so important ! Every liberal vote counts, so does every conservative & every moderate. Those with the most votes win !
I voted. Some of the candidates I voted for won. And some did not. The system still works. Unfortunately, there were a couple of the local races where there was only the incumbent running. No competition. That is not good.
The ladies running the local poll said they had never seen such a large voter turnout, even during a presidential election. I think people are sick of the way things are and trying to do something about it.
The representative in my district ran unopposed. Usually they put someone up to run against him, even though he always wins. We got lucky enough to live in the little piece of land that connects two high concentration areas that this dumbo represents It is disheartening to see races with no opposition. Where's the fun in that?
Still some counting going on here for Governor . Pretty much conservative candidates won here. incumbent Begeich (Dem) lost to Sulivan (Rep ) for US Senate. Young won, still our lone House of Rep member. Marijuana won Republicans still majority in our State Legislature.

But the throw the president in jail comments are ok?.... I'm not a huge fan but I dont hate him either - but you cant deny that's political. ( i dunno why im in a fiesty mood today )
