I did a little splitting with the X27 today after work. Making the best of what little light that's left after work.

Good work. Yes, the daylight time is getting pretty short now. Another thing that always amazes me is that around November 1, how far south that sun is. Imagine what it is like for our Alaskan friends!

Thanks guys!! It warmed me up a little. I Started out in a sweat shirt, I was down to my t-shirt after about 10 minutes. There's nothing like cutting, splitting, and burning wood. I wouldn't want it any other way!

I wasn't ready for this time change. I've been such a "one-trick pony" lately, that I don't know what to do with myself now!

I've even been planning for this for a couple months. All I can really do during the week is swing the axe for a little while in front of the motion light on the garage. That's why I've been stockpiling all those rounds. But of course, it started raining about 15 mins after I got home today.. :(

Nice looking splits, there. I haven't had much splitting to do since spring. I genuinely miss it.

Now that is nice work there RParrotte! I have one of those x27s and I have not used it in a while. I bought a nice hydraulic splitter and am loving it. But the hand splitting of Ash can be very fun!!!!!! I'll have to do some soon when I am looking for a little work out.
