Arctic Blast/Major Snowstorm??

Back in the 50's by the end of next week, let it come,I better get stacking!

 

Sooner or later we're gonna get whacked, anyway. Might as well be next week.

Forecast for snow this weekend

 

I need to rearrange the garage, snowblower and generator up front, Honda and Harley to the rear. (I hate that!!!)

 

I gotta change the oil on both then its snowblower to the shed and generator stays in the basement by the door Seems this weekend will be a perfect time to do both!

 

I'm going to do 100 miles tomorrow on the Electraglide before I do the swap though.. and even then on a nice day it's easy to move the gear to get the bike back out.

 

We had a snow event last night. I figured I'd put the plow on today, until I saw that we got about 1/4".
It actually stuck for a couple hours this morning.

 

I hear ya, Goldwing sitting up on the service lift with all the fairing off, depressing to say the least.

 

As much as I enjoy the change of seasons.. and I like burning and all that, ...it's still hard giving up the ghost on the riding. It's sooo in my blood.

 

I heard highs struggling to get above freezing Tuesday, and maybe lake effect snow depending on the wind direction. If it's a northwest wind the snow goes south of me. If it's a little more westerly I have a better chance of getting dumped on. I think Lake Michigan is still in the mid to upper 40s, which can get us a lot of snow here if the setup is right.

I got the oil changed in the snowblower and made sure it was ready to go this afternoon just in case, as well as covered the wood stacks.

 

We had our first flurries today! Lasted maybe 3 min.

 

I had a 500cc Yamaha twin back in the mid 70's.
Wow, memories.

 

It was spitting little beads of snow. Looked like those foam beads in a bean bag chair. It didn't stick. We were busy winterizing the travel trailer and moved it back to it's winter spot, then covered with a huge tarp. We only took it out once and that was a horrid camping event.
Still have some missalneous picking up tp do. Didn't rake at all. It will be waiting for me next spring.
Sove is working well, and the pellets are neatly stacked and waiting their turn.

 

Nooooooo! I have wood to get out of the woods yet! The day before Christmas will be fine here. Thank you very much!

 

So, that would mean that you "don't " own a snow mobile, right? (Neither do I).
