    I made mine 10' diameter, so there would be an awful lot to heap in there! I think it will be more stable with at least double rings. I like using double rows in my "normal" stacks, and lean them towards each other slightly, where they deviate from level. So far I'm keeping it pretty level using the shorts and uglies. Hopefully I'll have enough uglies, :loco: :crazy: or I'll end up having to saw more of my rounds into shorts! I'm trying to avoid stacking any pieces "crosswise", because I think it's a cleaner look.

    I'm using this one as my "bench mark". Hoping to achieve something close to this:

    man, if I built one to look that good I could never tear it apart
