Well after 3 years of half hearted trying I finally got my first deer.

Story time...I woke up at 5 am and immediately rolled back over and told my wife I wasn't going hunting. Then I drifted off to sleep but had a instant dream I killed a deer. So a cup of coffee later I'm in the stand and freezing lol. Right at first light this big doe stepped out about 25yds. Took the shot and she went down maybe 45yds away.

Wasn't the best shot but did pass through. Just happy I got a clean kill and pleased to fill the freezer.

If the pictured faced the other way you would see deer and woodstacks!
