first time for me to see this, K Mart has four tons of pellets sitting out front. They are Presto logs pellets @ $240/ton. Aren't these Legnitics ?

    Yes, they're made by Lignetics.

I didn't know that Kmart sold pellets must be a regional thing.

PTL's are worth a try, Hopefully you grabbed a few? ;)

Our Kmart is going out of business. I got to stop and see if the pellets are on the close out 25% off deal?

The PTL's for the past two seasons have been a good pellet IMO....even the ones that looked like black walnut burned great!

AFAIK, they are the same hardwood Lignetics but in a different bag, as many pellet manufacturers do to increase sales. I've burned many tons of Ligs and recommend them.

First time I've seen them sell pellets, but they were sitting right out front. Wrapped and under cover.

Thanks for that, I was just thinking about this earlier today. I had heard Presto Logs were made by Lignetics, but didn't know if they were they exact same product in different bags. I have never seen Presto Logs around here, so I'm guessing they are marketed as that name in a different region?

Hmm. We have a K-Mart in town. I've looked over there from a distance in the past and never saw any pellets. Will have to do a drive by tomorrow and take a closer look...

I have seen the PTL's at the K Mart near me in the past. I do not go there very often so I have no idea if they have them this year.

They have several plants. I got some last year at the start of the shortage at the local HD. They were the best pellets I've ever burned - and I'm about an hour from the Vermont Wood Pellets factory and have burned a bunch of those. These were from the West Virginia plant, were dark, and from the smell were a mix of red oak, walnut, with probably some maple too. I still have a ton for this year's cold weather. If your's are from WV, I'd say try a few bags and see.

I've seen the PTL's at the local KMart in past years but never paid much attention because of the price. This year HD's prices are in line with the KMart price so they may be worth a closer look.

I got 6 ton of Presto-Logs in the bunker now. Burned 5 ton in previous years. Other than Somersets, these are my next best pellet for the price.

Grab a few bags Larry. Your Harman will enjoy them :)

Local K-Mart isn't selling any pellets, but I found some Pres-to-Logs at an HD near work today so I picked up 5 bags. First time I've ever seen them. Hope they burn just like those lignetics do!

I had 5 ton of Presto-Logs and 2 ton of Green label Liggy's a couple years back and the Presto-Logs were a better pellet. I have not compared then the last 2 years, but I just bought 6 more ton of Presto-Logs.

For the money, the are a very good pellet.
