Saw this on CL , 1/2 mile away ,dead ash , the price was good $80 for 2/3 of a cord (2 face cords)
Already split, some of it will have to be recut to fit stove, but I expected that, MC is 18%

Thought face cords were a NY thing? You all gave me some funny looks back when I first joined here and gave my totals in face cords! :loco:

Is the price going up around you this time of year HD? You'd pay double that price around here right now! Nice score!

That's the way they sell it here in Michigan, if it says cord it means face cord.
I have noticed the price going up, some face chords going as high as 75

I still dont understand this??? I wont buy, even at a good price, with all the free wood available in our area(Mid & SE Michigan)?

I can have a 2 ton dump load of Black Locust or Oak in my drive way for $125, but then I dont get to run the saws.... $125 buys a lot of good bourbon for sipping by my fire.

Really? was that necessary? I called you to task for a disparaging comment you made about Detroit based on zero facts in another thread, and you insist on following me around to critique my posts?

Grow up, but if you get some weird satisfaction out of it feel free....

damm it, you got me, my bad

4,000 lbs of green wood, Oak & locust.
    Heavy stuff, great BTUs too.
    &
    It needs processed.
What's that in cord form ,
    2/3 - 3/4 of a cord ?
