One stack is growing while the other one shrinks. Its an endless battle of btus! Your pics look wonderful (as usual) keep up the good work!
Great pics. I can almost feel the clean cold air rejuvenating my innards from the heat and humidity down here
I'm about half way through reading his post on that, great reading. Nice pics Dave, Gives me an idea of how handy them new tongs can really be on them frostys.
Wonderful pics . I love the way those mountains look. That's a perfect postcard. It's looks we might be getting our first taste of snow or some kind of mixture on Saturday. Nice work = normal for you
Are your stacks nearly full again Dave? I remember you saying you were done going to the cutting area, got enough??
No, about 3 cord in the picture. Roughly 1/3 the way there. Need the stack to be about 8 cord. I stack this stack for 10 months , then this wood goes to the shed (usually in Aug.) Replaces what I use this burn season. It is stacked real loose. So the 8 is closer to 7 cords when stackrf tight in the wood shed. Not sure I have the 8 cord, but if needed, I'll get more in early Spring
Couple pics from today's splitting & stacking Smoke ran me away from the splitter, grabbed some dry stuff from the burn pit stacks to get some flames.
I just want to know did you remove those splits for the picture of the mnts or did you leave the dip on purpose.
Zang...Thats stacked tall, I'd be step laddering that thing... Great mountain view and some great looking stacks...
