Agree...... low 70's this week and a cold front..... not good.

I didn't mention this, but last week we had the cold front move in, long story short, I was on the deck smokin, it was only raining, all of the sudden I saw only a whitish red color, and thats all i could see....BOOM immediately! I flew into the house head first. Dawn was watching tv, she saw something shoot across tv and the power went out for like 10 seconds. I had a weird pain/stiffness from my right ear, down to my hip. It was from the lightening. Sat on couch, flash, instant BOOM again. Holy chit...... im getting scared! :eek:Checked the radar on my phone, and what started off as a green pea shape, only over our town, turned into a red circle within minutes. I heard sirens in the distance, so turned on the scanner. The second and last bolt actually hit a field behind a neighbor's house down the road, and it caught fire! Another neighbor lost his phone and internet.

    Holy chit W.S.,hope your okay.

When we were younger our parents had a camp on the St.Lawrence River, it was a stormy day so my father and my brother were watching the Yankee game together while we watched the lightning, well it hit the antenna an smoked the T.V., both came running from the room.

Im good....... scared the chit outta me though. I dont know how close it was at all! I felt no heat, it was only raining for crying out loud! It certainly humbled me though. The weirdest thing is, that second bolt that was around a half mile away, around a minute or two after the first one, when it hit, I felt the weird feeling between my ear and hip again. Very strange I think. I hope im not a walking lightening rod now........

Damm! Glad your here to talk about it! Thats crazy!
