Just using the eyeball and hand method these pellets from TSC are burning excellent. Very reasonable ash levels...level 2 on my stove and you don't want to be standing in front. Normally I would try to grab some temps and figure out lbs/hr but I have been too busy and am almost out if them....figured I would post anyway in case some fellow members are hunting pellets and they come across them.
I'm burning the Premium pellets (re-bagged AWF) from Lowes and like them so far. Good heat, ash isn't bad either.
Always had pretty good luck. Except a ton from 4 yrs ago. I had some 3" pellets (average of 2") and they sent me a Giftcard for TSC. Last year, the hardwoods got a new look (blue and orange bag) because the softies took the design of the old bag. I though I found a new pellet last year when I sent he orange and blue bags!! Then after getting home, I realized they were just AWF's. But that was the best batch I burned to date.
burning some this year, so far so good. bags are white/gold. passed quality control, Otis sniffed them, then peed on them, good to go.
