I love that chute. During the warm months it would look cool with a cannon sticking out.:D

Any changes in your weather coming?

Now that were back filling the woodbox and sharing pictures of the Blaze King beast at your castle Bogy we need some fresh splits to the left of the stove marked with moisture readings and a new chart for this year. It sure doesn't seem like it's been a year since last burn season started I know that. The wife and I were greeters at church a couple of weeks ago and a lady that signs the kids in for sunday school was standing there. I said to her does your hubby have the wood piles all ready, same thing I said last year at this time and I swear it seemed like just a few months since I said that to her last year.

To be nice tomorrow & Thur. Sunny !
    Mid 20°s at night,
should freeze the trail up. Mid 30°s daytime,
May head over to the cutting area, be a wood snob & drive around in the
wood looking for a few real good trees. Cord more should put me near 6.

I was thinking I should weigh a few of the fresh green ones I'm splitting now.
Last year was a couple months after stacking ,
the ones this year seem heavier,

Should weigh the ones to the left of the stove & see how they ended up. They're still there.

I kind of got a feeling age has something to do with it too. :) Weigh some fresh splits. I for one would be interested in seeing how much water was in them after you chase it all out. A significant amount probably gets lost real fast.

Got one more load to get tomorrow then will start splitting.

Thinking a 1/2 (one side wood) , a triangle 2 sides wood) , a square with bark one side (3 sides wood) , & a square with no bark.
    Now to remember LOL :)

Could be worse - I'm from the Buffalo area - we haven't made the playoffs in 15 years... :( We win just enough games to get a chitty draft pick. :picard:
