So you just hang inside and play board games for a few months? Ha... Just trying to understand your crazy lifestyle.......remember,I'm from nj...
Well, smallest population & largest state. Fewest roads. Traffic jam here is not like your traffic jams. but a wreck can shut down the only road , avalanche's shut down the only road south. One road south, 2 roads north, none east or west, hard to get lost on the road system Remote is remote. Cell phone coverage is not state wide need a visa to drive out of state. 1 road to leave the state, 3 day trip to get to the lower 48. Can't drive to our capital city. The Politician's like that. Not much lifestyle difference, just some extremes. Your coldest days are our norms. Long dayLight during the summer, Winter , long dark cold nights,
Very interesting thanks, the amount of roads we have here is insane and we still get traffic jams all the time. I really enjoy watching all those Alaskan shows but I know that lifestyle is for a select few. We all need to enjoy what we have. Thanks for the insight, keep warm....
Pretty sure that's right. Haven't driven outside since 9/11, cheaper to fly. Stories I've heard, Alaskans get hassled more than when I drove up. Neighbor had to pay $1000, to go thru last year.
I'm sure Americans driving in from the south don't need visas, it seems odd that they would need them to drive down from Alaska. They want to see a passport now when we drive down into the states, but I don't think they stamp it or issue any visa. I haven't crossed that border in a long time either.
Oh, nice stacks of wood by the way. What is even more amazing is I know that doesn't even include the wood you have stockpiled in your woodsheds. If wood hoarding ever gets classified as a mental illness, they'll be locking you in a padded room my friend.
