Well, I got out of the house yesterday. My son and his wife had their annual pumpkin carving party. Has been a lot of fun. I wasn't feeling well but I went anyway. They had a lot of fun food, but I didn't dare eat anything. It was a fun time and I did enjoy seeing the kids and grandkids.

The bearded man dead center in the back with the Orange shirt is one of my sons. My other son is also bearded, but is a red head as I once was.

Thanks for the kind words. Believe me Sub I'm normally dressed in blue uniforms covered greases and fuels !! All his men had black or white Yankee hats. They are a great team and we think they will do well.

Helped the boss load up her quilting stuff into the car for the quilters getaway. Her sewing room is down about three tons of stuff. Installed 4 more of the interior storms and most importantly have a fermenter full of a heavy ale. I had a busy morning so I had an afternoon nap.

Keep that ale warm so she don't stall out on ya.The heavy one's need the warm temps to keep em going.I keep my fermenter close to the stove.

I haven't had any stall out on me yet and I've done some stuff that takes a bit of time to ferment. The real slow stuff is in the stove room (7 gallons of mead racked once, second racking due on Thursday) The rest of the stuff is up on the kitchen table and happily bubbling away.

I have a little trick I use if I can't easily keep temperature in the dead of winter. I have a heat mat that goes under the fermenter.

I see everyone's having a great time. Me, slaving away on my venting installation. I do a 7 1/2 inch hole in the concrete and behold my thinking:doh:, I actually needed a 9 1/4 hole:headbang:
