Thanks for the welcome Chvymn99. NYCountry, I buy mine (oak) by the log truck load every year and I would guess there's 6 or 7 full cords there. No where I know around here to get free wood and to be honest it's so much easier to avoid the falling, limbing and trucking and just get it delivered in eight foot lengths. $900 this year.
Great looking stacks Chief, I can see why you hate to pull from them! And great dog and name! Buddie was the name of my first dog when I bought my own house, he was the best dog I ever had! It's funny how the dogs love to help with the wood, my dogs love to jump into my DR power wagon when I'm moving wood.
Yes, our dogs seem to know the wood operation is going to keep them warm this winter. At least mine do. My Oggie, who passed away last November after 14 years with me, helped me even at the end, when she could hardly get around. Loved that girl more than myself.
Well put Chief, I had to take the dog out a few extra times just to look at my winter stack I moved up by the door.
That's actually the norm Chief. Hijacking that is... Don't ever stop posting pics of your pups... we all love em too...
T Thanks. As Long as Scotty doesn't come along here in a minute and axe me for hijacking my own thread lol.
No problem from any of us. My new friend Piper, 8 months old and my beloved Rudy that shared his love for 12 yrs.
