Looks awesome. I would have like roasted garlic potatoes done on the grill to go with it but mashed potatoes and broccoli sound good too.
I would like to have grilled the potatoes also, but you need to take the grates out of the grill when using the rotisserie which would kind of preclude grilling something else.
I made a piping hot chicken stew for dinner with rolls. The stock was made in a pressure cooker with carrots celery and onion.
Made some fajitas/tacos yesterday. Chicken, onions, peppers, sour cream, and queso wrapped in a corn tortilla
man I love mussels, those look awesome. My wife makes a similar dish to that. I am lucky to live real close to Penn Cove. Home of the famous or not so famous Penn cove mussels http://www.penncoveshellfish.com/Products/pro_mussels.html
I've got that exact same set up on my weber NGasser, dont use it alot anymore now that i have a pellet grill though
Ok, I don't think I did this right...but it doesn't matter because it is so freakin' good! I wish I had smell-o-vision. Beef Shoulder Roast
I am glad you don't have smell-o-vision. It looks awesome enough without having to smell it with no tasting.
Only in the 20-30 range here today. On the verge of winter. I've started making some chicken stock and gonna fill the house with the wonderful aroma.
It is really hard to beat the smell of chicken stock cooking, especially when coming in from the cold. We use a pressure cooker and the smell is incredible, while the steam heats the kitchen up nicely.
Sauteed some mushrooms, didn't know what do to after that. Roasted some garlic and didn't know what to do with that. Finally figured I would throw them in a pot and make a veggie soup. Doesn't look very good from the picture but it has been cooking for hours and is very tasty.
That bowl looks absolutely perfect. I love soups and stews. A bit of crusty bread, perhaps a bit of butter, and a large spoon! Yum. I am thinking of a fish chowder for this weekend - it's supposed to be cool and rainy on Sat. This sounds like a plan.
