I believe it, climbing is hard work. The crew I worked on put me up a tree once, maybe 30 feet. Just to show me the ropes. I pruned the young sprouts on the way down and was BEAT when I hit the ground. It uses muscles that you just don't use on a regular basis. Major respect for the guys that go up in a huge oak and don't come down for a couple hours on a daily basis

    I checked the earthquake site:

"Small quake in Eastern Pa, "
"surface tremor from a large tree, suspect "Hickory"

"summary : Well seasoned is at it again "

    LOL :)

The new look is nice because its wood.......... but i need to get it cleaned up or it will drive me nuts. Tomorrow, i plan on bucking the rest while Dawn stacks this years oak (again, since having the hickory dropped was a last minute decision, as opposed to having all the hangers pieced down). I will then stage the rounds to be processed at a later time. I have a few projects that HAVE to get done before the snow flies. This has been one of the busiest summers/fall for projects ever. When finally done, beers will be in hand.

A few BIG cottonwoods grow near water. Then there is mulberry with barbwire growing thru it along the fence rows.
But our ( few ) ash trees are still ok.:sherlock:
