After reading the reviews from a few here,
    decided to try them.
    Husqy 12"
Can already see the advantage, can pick up 2 rounds without bending & rolling them up the leg, then stand up with them.

Should be a back saver on the small & mid size rounds
    & picking up splits .

I think they could be sharper so they bite in & grab better.
Like the color, Some flo pink duck tape will make them even more visible in the woods.

Got 2 , shipping not much different ordering 1 or 2,
    shipping $26 (ouch)

    pick up an 8" & 3" round fine :

With 2 of em, you could "yoke" them somehow using a waist belt... no lifting at all with your back. Slicker than a smelt.

I love getting the exercise, but after moving a cord
of green birch at +/- 5,000 lbs,.
    I load the atv trailer,
then off of it to the big trailer
    then off load at home.
That's 15,000 lbs of lifting of just the wood in a day.

Let alone felling, liming, skidding, bucking, saw >>>> etc.
Anything to make it a bit easier, helps a lot :)

When you break it down like that, processing wood seems like a pain in the butt

Right where I want to be.
I could use a couple of those at SIL's.
After a few trips to the Jeep, I can't even feel my back anymore...........until later.:headbang:

I noticed at the end of the day, it was hard to grip even a 5" round & pick it up.
Hoping these help reduce the back & hand/arm fatigue.
A little mechanical advantage should help :)

They certainly will. You will be bending/leaning down less on every piece and not hoisting them as high. And each piece is going to have a nice handle. Less energy needed to lift and less wear and tear on you.

    Weren't cheap

    .
Now I'm thinking I should have tried to have a Husqy dealer, order them.
might have got them for near $100 & no shipping.
They didn't have them , but I didn't check if they could order & still get for $49.65 each.

You , Dennis & couple others, were the reason I decided to get them,
good reviews from those that handle a lot of wood.

Can you use Amazon Prime in Alaska? I know not everything is available through prime. Sometimes I buy the more costly prime item because it is still less than the shipping charges and I get it quicker.

I absolutely guarantee that you will be 100% totally satisfied with them. I've been using pulp hooks for a few years. Similar idea just different implementation. You are not bending as far and the piece of wood gets a nice handle. Back feels better and the hands don't get abused.

I am so confident that I will offer this guarantee above the manufacture's; If you are unsatisfied for any reason I will come cut and haul all of your annual harvest next year. This offer is labor only. You will need to supply all equipment, supplies, permits, and room and board. Note that I have checked flight availability and the only available flights to Anchorage are before moose hunting season so you can expect me at moose camp also. (I'll cover the beer). :)
