Same here; only reprieve I get is blowing the driveway leaves across the street into more woods. The rest (and the biggest bulk) are hauled into the woods by that guy Manual Labour

Now...Painting the living room ceiling. Last night...Burned a bag of okies.

Leaves, got a fence in the back to keep the neighbors stuff out. Front, wait for a strong wind like the every one else does.

I rarely ever mess with the leaves until spring. The beech and oak wait so long to drop their leaves. We get som brisk winds that move them along. They pile up in the gardens where I wait until the frost is out before I rake them up.

Sometimes I get lucky and the leaves fall on top of the snow and blow away.

Most of the time I end up with a matted down mess of leaves that fall on the snow and get buried by more snow. The fruit trees around me tend to hold on to their leaves until after snow flies.

My cherry seems to keep em until we get a freezing rain or snow that sticks to them.

Well big doings today. Son is getting married, gonna be a long day. Family is all here and room addition got done and looks great. Only problem on the horizon is perhaps some rain as this is supposed to be an outdoor ceremony. And of course hoping the families can play together for a few hours !!

Finishing the house powerwashing is today's chore....along with the deck. May be the last "warm" day we have, so gotta "git er done". A/C units may get taken out too.

This is a fishing spot on the Delaware, that happens to be on one of the bike trails I ride, that my Pop used to take me too all the time. I miss those days!

Heck ya, We just didn't expect it to rain so hard or be so chilly. Would have liked a better last trip of the season, But already makin plans for next spring. The day wasn't a total loss, We tried a few new baits that actually seemed to catch some attention. Another fella brought a skunk home and was surprised we got a couple.

We will have another bonding day tomorrow as we tear out all the gear and prep the boat for the winter.

Did the last of the canning, applesauce then I had to grill a steak, that might have been the bribe for watching the pressure caner and handling hot jars all afternoon. Warsh day tomorrow because the boss needs clean clothes for her trip.
