Well, you pellet burners in Ct., , Mass., NH, VT or Me. should be somewhat sad today. I was driving along I-84 eastbound yesterday near the NY/Ct border, and we came across a serious traffic stoppage. Unfortunately, the cause was an 18 wheeler over the embankment. As I drove by, I saw workers loading something onto pallets.......take a guess. Yep, a whole truckload of Fireside Ultra. What a mess. Hopefully the driver is OK.
suprised the pellets pigs aren't trying to locate the damaged load to load into their vehicles. sure there are lots of salvagable pellets.
Oh no!!! I probably would have had to at least stuffed my pockets full I do hope the driver escaped with no injuries.
Believe me, the thought crossed my mind, but I wasn't the driver....just a passenger, so I didn't have a choice.
First of all, I hope no one is hurt. Driving is dangerous...trucking is even more dangerous. I hope the driver is okay. With that said....I can't believe I missed this! I live on the NY/CT border and was on 84 a bunch of times. I don't know if I would have had been able to resist pulling over and asking to take the "debris" off their hands
A side note: while my husband and I were stalking the somersets going to a nearby Lowes, everytime we saw a Lowe's truck on the side of the road we said "there's our pellets. let's get 'em!" You would be amazed just how many Lowes trucks are on the road - we started it as a joke and found ourselves seeing them all over the place. We were a bit obsessed
