    It'll pull more chain, but why would you want to put a long bar on a 55cc saw?
    You'd be pushing the limits of the oiler.
    No doubt it's a strong runner and it would pull the chain. Just not impressively IMO.

    Kinda like running 33's on a Chevette.
    Sure, it can be done......but why?

    If you need to run 20" +.......than a 290 isn't the saw for you IMO.
