You need a storage shelter of some sort. Can you cover the lawn furniture and swing with a tarp? Glad you have a drying rack. Put that stuff in a dryer and there is a sharp spike in the electric bill.
I've seveal boxes of "stuff" to sort out and I have to clear off a love seat that has been a dump station for new stuff bought but waiting to be put away. I hate all this stuff sitting in the middle of the floor.ihave to look over it when I have the TV on. :hair:

The metal parts are staying outside, the canopy, seat and end cushions are coming in. I hope to be able to get it on top of the screens I have on top of some pellets in the garage, but you never know. I have figured out the first three pallets of pellets I'm going to burn (I need that room to finish the work I started in the garage).

Got off my rear end today and did everything I wanted to do yesterday and then some.

I had a rust bubble starting in the rocker panel of the truck. I got that sanded down, primed and painted. That should buy me another year before the road salt gets to it again. I shot a bit of oil inside the rockers to possibly slow the rust down. For a 9 year old truck with almost 150K on it, I can't complain about a little rust spot.

Cut down the dead/dying flowers in the garden and hauled those to the burn pile, cut the grass, weed whacked and got the Poulan 3400 chainsaw I bought from Dexter a couple weeks back running. Now it's time to find something for dinner.

We had a few small snowflakes on October 4th at the GTG at my house :(

Then this morning, there was a very thick frost (30° outside). The kitchen was a little cool when I walked in there. It's officially time to run the ceiling fans all the time. When they run (dining room and kitchen) they distribute the heat from the Enerzone.

Pic to prove it happened :)

This was the 1st pic I took.. I didn't realize my breath would show up this bad..

Then the pic I took (holding my breath) :)

Wow, that is a hard frost. The weatherman said we had one, however I didn't look outside today and now it is dark again.

Got the same frost here that Dex had, which surprised me. We're not that far from Lake Erie, and the frost usually stays away a bit longer here. Gave me an excuse to put the garden to bed for the winter. Got a bunch of daffodils, tulips, and crocuses planted. Planted two new pear trees. Got the new storm door almost installed, just need to get the closers put on. Got the lawn mowed too, looks great in the fall. Just wish it looked like that all summer.

So I had a doctors appointment today. I got a shot in both arms, (pneumonia and flu) and two tubes of blood drawn. Then he orders a colonoscopy:jaw:. He tells me my kidneys are spilling protein from damage done by high blood pressure and says I can get injections for my knee so it won't hurt so much to walk. Then he stops the arthritis medication because it hurts the kidneys. Also say I have neropothy in my feet.
All you guys looking forward to retirement look out for what comes with it!

yes, and after getting the butt bomb, I'll see him in Jan. for a physical. He'll have me turn on my side then I'll hear that familiar "snap" as he puts on his glove! :bug:. :picard: There is no modesty when we get older.

Yesterday I hayed the back lot and took the weed whacker to the garden fence line, today I bottled that batch of Porter. Maybe this weekend I'll start another batch then when the boss gets back from her quilting getaway I'll get some cider to ferment.

I want to tell you, I'm a retired RN. I retired from the army and the VA. I've had more than my share of below the belt "hands on" experience. That having been said, it is never the same when you are the patient!
