You'll get many good years of use from that investment. All the old farms around here who always burned wood have their wood in sheds or barns. Most of them are connected to the house. Like that saying, "what was once old , is new again".

Right where I want to be.
I've said it before.....I waited too long to put up my woodshed. Dealt with ice and snow covered tarps way too long.
Walk out to the shed and grab a few splits of nice dry wood and I'm gooder to go for a while.
I was able to use some leftover materials too, but had to buy some. Took me a while to get it done.
    You're going to love it.

Not my fault. I don't remember if I put 'em up here or just on the "other" site.
I can drag 'em out if you're that interested.
    Never seen 'em Stinny?

Well we got some wood split and stacked yesterday. Mother n law came over and the wife and kids split and stacked most of the day while I worked on preparing the wood boiler. That stack is 16' long and about 7' to the top.almost 4' deep.Ive got more rounds in the pile to split and get stacked.hopefully in the next few days it'll get done.

Ya' gotta' love a wood shed!! I fought tarps and all that for a few years, even built a wood shed out of stacked wood and worked out of the middle for a few years!!
Looks like yours is/has come along quite nicely.
