    And also if you look at the picture, you can see what I mean by the height, Black splitter is perfect height for me.

    thats what is missing on mine.
    what valve do you have on yours for the ram? apparently they no longer sell them with the kind i have due to liability issues. in addition to auto-retract, mine auto-extends to split the round. if it sees too much pressure from a hard to bust round then it will reset itself. but most of the time i get a round on the rail, throw the levers, and by the time i have another round ready to throw down it has gone through its cycle already.

    I bought the one I have instead of newer one at dealer because it had auto extend and auto retract. So when I someday have to split without help I can use it. I can see the liability issue and why they no longer offer the feature. We try to always enforce the rule, hands on the log side and never on ends and helper places only on lift, operator moves into position, then helper takes off table.
