The 50F should be good with the Maine pellets. MWP or Maine Choice though MWP are preferred. Don't think you have the option of being choosey this late in the game. But next season you'll have better options if you start earlier. Pellet houses start excepting orders in April/May. Box stores will usually start bring in supplies late July early August. Try to have your deals done no later than September 1st.

Your right, I have NO choice now. But now I know how this works and will stock up next spring/summer. You guys pick up your own pellets from the big box stores? I see they don't deliver....I am sure you can only carry a ton in a pickup or van.

I haul my own in a pick up. If you don't have one HD rents a truck that will carry a ton($$$ I don't know). HD deliverer in my area. Something like $65 up to 5 tons IIRC. Not sure if Lowes does, But they might.

My Lowes will do up to 16 ton/skids for the same price of $69 (or was it $59?) :)

Find a decent brand and jump on several ton. Them next year you can shop around and get something a little better. By the way Jay is talking, it's slim pickens out your way.

Find them, buy them, and get them home ASAP. :D

Certain area's are worse than others. Central CT seems to be the hardest hit.

There is stuff available in my area. All 3 box stores have fuel. Pellet houses seem to be the hardest hit, But they still have some stuff available if you don't mind settling on what ya get. The good stuff is pretty much out of stock.

I am shopping for the cheapest place to buy Selkirk DV for multi fuel. Any help?

That kit is just that. A Kit. Comes with everything but the two "lengths" you need..

Because every install is different, you need to buy a piece of DT for your vertical and a piece for your horizontal.

But otherwise, that kit is majority of it.

I'd PM member Don2222 and see what he says.

Lowes was asking $6.98 a bag or $349 a ton, pretty pricey stuff. I was able to get a discount which brought it down to $5.62 a bag or $281 a ton. Home Depot wants $239 a ton but they have to be preordered. Since they had them I bought a pallet. It was the only ones left in the store.

damm...me personally, I don't think they are worth $280 a ton but at least you got that discount....they are a pretty good pellet and if that's all you can get then that's that......
