Looks like thats what I'll be going with for at least the start of the season. Except mine are in TSC bags. They look to be the best of what TSC has to offer. I was soooo hoping for some AWF! But the beast will do what she does with the MWP. Eat em up and spit out heat!!
Mine are the TS bagged ones as well. The good thing about having enough top end in the stove is a lesser dense pellet won't have you struggling. Worst case is I will have to run level 4 hi/lo as opposed to the usual 3 when the real cold starts.
I'm spoiled with left over good chit(AWF-Hamers-Cubex) So they will be on the menu until the temps drop below 0*F. Then I'll put in the good chit. I ran over 1.5 tons last season(both TSC and the cabin bag). No problems to speak of. Just more carbon build up on my burn liner than I'd like. Decent heat and ash.........
Maybe OMV drives by there. Not me..... Ive been off the forum for a week and man do I have sone catching up to do...Infernos are possibly Curran mix this year...did hell freeze over?
I could a swore it was you. Ah well, My memory slipped on that one! I do have CRS and oinker fever! Sorry!!
I would think so, You can post pictures in the thread/review area. The more info you post the better IMHO. Here's a link to some of the rules to the area. http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/index.php?threads/how-to-post-in-this-forum.5796/
Jay, the PFI badge on the Inferno Gold bag indicates "Premium" not "Super Premium" despite all the other "ultra" and "super" terms written on the bag. After what you guys are saying about the blend, I'm glad I only bought one bag.
They must be recycling super premium pallets, and bark..... I'm sure people are going to buy them, (just like regular inferno) I can't see this being a good business move for Curran.
bought 12 bags at lows. They don't burn well in my enviro mini at all.Low heat output and can't run stove below heat setting 4 or it goes out.new england pellets burn perfect on all settings.
Thanks for that feedback, good to know. May sound funny, but this is the one bag in my stash I'm most curious about testing. Certainly not expecting too much from them!
let us know what you think when you burn them.Could be my stove is picky but I've tried adjusting combustion blower feed trim and air damper.nothing helped they just don't burn. One minute i have a great fire the next its like i dropped ice cubes in the burn pot.
got some tsc brand this weekend.they burn very well fairly clean too.acording to the upc they are maine woods.
