So yesterday I found what I wanted, and NEEDED and the wife said quit whine'n and buy it. So I spen't money I didn't have….. and got this . I had several after It's a 5' x 12', LED receased lights, backup lights, squar box gate and top rail and a 2990lb load rating. The company who built it is in Elkart, Ind. It's one of the more quality ones I found. I was going to build one but I still haven't finnished my log splitter from "LAST" October I started, how the heck would I have found the time when there is so much beer to be drank.
Dear WeldrDave, Yooperdave likes your trailer. He would also like to know exactly what type of whine'n you used to get these results. Sincerely, Yooperdave
In regards to the whining issue, is it the quality or the quantity of the whining that seals the deal??
I know… and I looked at that route also. This place I bought it at has only been in business for about a year and it was nice to keep someone else local employed. It was more than what I had intended to spend but I think in the long run it'll be worth it. The wife has heard me complaining for two years now about getting one and I just couldn't get past the sticker shock $$$ . AND NJ sales tax to boot!!! . But it's new and it'll last me forever hopefully.
WOW Christmas came early Very nice set up trailer. Back up lights would be a great feature. You get electric brakes too ?
Well don't cry in your beer. You will get many hours of good use out of it. IMO, a trailer is a must for wood burner, Now that you can haul more than double what you could load on the truck It expands your distance & reduces costs, to go get wood
I really like the enclosed sides. That thing is built like a dang tank. Warning........the pretty won't last unless you are extremely vigilant about touching up chips and stuff. I'd show a pic of mine.......actually, I have. It'll last a long time, for sure.
That was what I was looking for, I was looking for a good wood hauler and to protect my ATV a bit. They're a bit tough to find and this place locally just got them in, this trailer was built in Aug.
On the serious side, I was told the axle is rated at 2990 lbs. to avoid the necessity of requiring elec brakes. The axle is probably rated at 3500 lbs, but listed as 2990 for the good ol DMV.
