Super score for $60 & some gas.

How many you think you'll have running by Christmas ?

 

I will let you know , nothing headed to trading post yet. I need to figure out what I need . I do have a full wrap and a standard for a husvqvarna 362 that I won't be needing.

 

free gas, work pays for it. Should be able to make a few runners by thanksgiving

Thanks. I just need a few small parts. I may get the wrap handle for the 362 for my 372.

 

I said 362 but I think the misc handle bars are for a 562. I will get some pics later. I may have a 372 full wrap

 

Pulled the slug and jug from the 385 and threw it in the 390, fired right up.

Also found a tank of straight gas in the 390. Did not run long the cylinder should clean up fine and I will get a piston for it.

 

So..... you wanna double your money?!

That is a clean 390/385 too.

 

Saw Troll commented somewhere that the stock porting scheme on the 385 jug is much better than that of the 390. Myself I don't have any proof.

 

OK, the, ahem, well fed, orange chick on the side of the bench is great!

 

There's a decent difference in port timing numbers. I tested stock to stock and they were even. I wouldn't doubt a 385 would end up faster than a 390.

 

Is there room to pull the base gasket? I will verify squash, but if every body says no I won't try.

 

It depends. I've seen them both ways with squish from .027-.042".

 

Thanks that's what I needed to know. I will go threw the trouble if I know it may work.
