Awsome morning for picking saws , I had to travel about an hour this morning. It was well worth it, saws were heading to the scrapper. What I went to get 390,385,3-372 and a 235. What he threw in. 3 sharp 32 in chains. Oregon bars 2-32, 1-28, 1-20(husqvarna .wrap handle and standard for 362. Then he asked if I wanted some tools , Husqvarna case splitter, bearing pullers, seal pullers and a stack of carb kits and base gaskets. The 390 is nice . Just some light scoring on the piston.
Don't know what you paid for all but the 7 factory tools are worth over $200! NICE SCORE! Actually the seal pullers are in the bottom row, the top row from left to right are clutch side seal installer, FW side seal installer and the last is the crankcase assembly tool, the big bolt above is for the flywheel side and the one in the mandrel is for the clutch side. You do not 'pull' bearings from a Husqvarna you heat the case and they fall out. I attached the HVA service tools IPL, have a look.
Made the deal for the saws for $45 and he threw in the bars, chains and tools. I gave I'm $60 and said thanks a lot.
Well I'll give you $100 right now for just the tools. Via Pay-Pal immediately as a gift! This counts as dibs! Not a joke, try me, you'll see! Send a PM with your PayPal ID, I'll send the money!
I have been looking at the case splitter for some time. I cannot imagine what my face looked like when he said "could you use these, I don't need them"
There are four different case splitters not sure exactly which one this is, it appears that the rest of the tools are specific to the 362/372 series of saws.
If that's the same case splitter I have (got it from Randy/Henry), then you'll absolutely love it. I've used it on Stihl 034/036/360 and an MS460. It fit nicely, just had to spread the jaws a whisker for the 460. Nice score!
If you have 385 parts you don't need let me know. I happened to get a hold of one the other day needing a few things.
I actually started life as "all orange". They were cheap homeowners saws. But they got me through a lot of wood my 1st year. (455 Rancher, 435, and a 435T). Showing my true colors lol..
