Right where I want to be.
Don't waste the peas. use the cauliflower.:D
I've mentioned this before, but my wife made some rice bags that you can either freeze or throw in the microwave, depending on need. They last a long time, whereas the cauliflower won't be any good after use. That's the one plus in this scenario.
Won't do you any good right now, but for future reference.......

Glad to hear you're ok Pete! I hate falling with an arm load of stuff. We had a spill the other night loading 30" maple rounds into the back of the truck. My buddy stepped backwards into a divot in the ground and down we both went with that big round. Luckily neither one of us got hurt ..

Ugh... back of trucks can be hazardous... I stepped down from the back of our crane truck once with a trailer attached... my work boot heal slipped inside one of the safety chains and my leg went out just like I was on ice... I ended up on my back with both legs up and over the trailer tongue. All I could think about was it must have looked really funny... ... until the hurt started... ;)

Is your pain on the spine or off to one side?

Oh chit Pete! I hope you mend well. Falling is for stares and leaves, not so good for wood hoarders! If you don't get moving soon, you should go get checked over.
I fell in Feb. Wrecked my knee. Life for me changed in an instant. You are much younger, and in much better shape.

Frozen margarita and daiquiri pouches mean great ice packs and pain killers!

Got Pea's?? Then use them and see the Doc tomorrow. You might have done some damage and the back is nothing to mess with.

Pete, I fell up the stairs too, dear husband had to pick up my briefcase belongings and clean up the coffee I was carrying when he got home, as I too parked myself in a chair after the fall. Is she home yet?

Hope it's nothing serious, but if you're still in a lot of pain, get it checked out. Need a good strong back for firewood'n.

If there's nothing broke, and you're like me and not a fan of painkillers, (besides beer, of course!), might want to make an appointment with a chiropractor if the pain is in your back/neck/hip. Most 'normal' doctors won't recommend them, because they don't consider them 'real doctors', but they've fixed me up a couple times.

Might take a few sessions to get everything straightened out. The muscles in your back go all tense, trying to prevent further injury, so it might take him a few tries before they relax enough to do the job properly. The trick about them is, they'll want you to keep coming back for 'adjustments' every week or two. So I usually just stop going to them after a few weeks when I'm feeling better again.

Get well soon! Keep us posted!

Thanks guys! I went to the Hospital last night because it hurt so bad. Doc says nothing major got hurt for once lol. He said I'm probably in a lot of pain because I've had 2 back surgeries for fused disks and a bunch of knee surgeries ( reconstructive ) so I'm not as able as I once was. That was his explanation mine is I fell and it hurt.  I got the same sweetheart of a nurse as last time I was there too:thumbs: She's great! They sent me home a few hours ago with a good dose of pain meds... I'm a little fuzzy right now.
