    Well I fell down the stairs bring up firewood so now I'm sitting in front of the wood stove and I can't walk but I got a pretty view. Six more splits to pick up by the steps too... KIMG0192.jpg

    I think so. The step broke on a concrete lip and I went 3 steps down hard landed underneath the firewood

    Know how you feel, I went down in about a millionth of a second a couple of winters ago and thought I cracked my rib. I got to the house but couldn't even lay down. Long storey short it just ended up being bruised. My wife and the Dr. over rode my authority and made me take some painkillers, glad they did!

    What did you end up doing it hurt so bad?

    I have no idea what I just did all I know is my back hurts really bad and my right leg.

    I'd get ice packs on both spots ASAP and think about an Xray. I took a flop in Jan this year too and landed right on my back. Pain meds and ice packs after Xrays. Good you got a buddy headed over.

    Got frozen peas? Use that. Works good. Crushed ice in a ziploc baggy, etc.
