Hey guys, it's been a while but it's that time of year and I bought 25 bags of TSC brand pellets and was wondering if these are any good? The guy told me they were re-bagged MWP and I've heard pretty good things about them. They were a little pricey @ $5.29 per bag but that's what they're getting for all the pellets in this area right now. Just wondering if I should continue to stack my cellar with these pellets or go with something else?

Mine were $224/ton with the $25 early buy discount and I am very pleased with that price. First bags going into the hopper soon.

You are right Jay, they are over $250/ton now and there's a rumor floating around they may go up another $25/ton in the near future. Man I hope not, but if they do I expect Doug's right - that will certainly slow sales and stop the hoarders from doing their thing. Unfortunately, it will also punish those who waited too long.

BTW, as of yesterday the latest offering at TSC is "O'Malley Wood Pellets". What's the dirt on these?

I am about three bags in to the Tractor Supply MWP and so far not one complaint. Ash even seems better than the last time I burned them.

Which TSC did you see the O'Malleys?

Average (shoulder season) pellet, at best. Complaints of not much heat and high ash:

Got 2 Ton of Propellets at 189.00 per on their early sale and 1 ton thrown in with the stove when I bought it, so I guess I only have 42.33 per bag into them!:):)
The good thing is every bag I buy now will lower my average!

Same one you got the Minute Man pellets at. Speaking of those, have you burned any? Curious to hear what you think of them.

Glad to hear about the MWPs this year!
