    Glad folks liked my list :cool:

    I just remembered, prefab fireplace should be called "Zero clearance fireplace" also.


    Definitely add the terms Dave,basod and others added (should season, split, round, etc).

    What about adding Noodling? (Chainsaw cut with the grain, used to break up nasty crotches,etc for those of us without hydraulics)

    I was incorrect Long Ton = 2,240 pounds or 1,016 kilograms. See the following: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_ton

    Further investigation also says 'the shipment of coal by sea' and the tonnage of fuel for coal fired vessels was the most common use for this measurement, even into the 20th century.
