    Magic. [IMG]

My dealer doesn't care if I use their chain bench. I walk in with a roll of chain and magically emerge a few minutes later with a smaller roll of chain and a few loops. ;)

There are other ways to make loops too. These are just the nicest way.

;)I mean I know you can do it with a press and a hammer and some punches and stuff but I figured the pro you are your not using hack techniques like I would be.
    ;)
Be the same as if I took my drive shaft to a shop to get new joints and I see them with a 2lb sledge and some sockets beating on my u joints. I do it that way but figure them to use a press or the tool.;)

MM, are you going to mount them on the freezer? You put cases in your wife's oven when she is not around, so I thought mounting them on the freezer would be the next logical step! LOL

One for breaking chain, the other will put it back together. With these I am covered for everything 1/4"-.404 with the ability to add tools for 1/2" or 1/4" Picco.
How did I know you were going to bust my nuggets about the freezer.....
The amount of money I have in tools is quite a bit more than your average small engine mech. :zip:

I could probably buy a house if I sold all my tools for what I paid for them.
I work in anything from Small engines, auto, diesel/heavy equipment, fab work, etc.

Mostly cause I am too cheap to pay someone else to screw it up.

I hear ya. Last time farmed out a job they bent the shaft on a brand new powersteering pump. Of course I didn't notice it until I had it installed and fired it up. By then they shop would not warrenty their work, claiming I had 'over tightend the belt'. For what I paid for a second new pump, I could have bought the puller my self.

Here at the mine I have access to a precsion 200 ton press, liquid nitrogen, a full machine shop, weld shop, rigging shop, heavy equipment shop, etc....

I can handle most stuff at home, the rest comes here. Screw the idiots in town.
