Clear tarps finally got here. Got the rest of the wood I hauled out this spring, stacked. Went a little higher in the middle for rain/snow. Should be fine for a few years. We'll see.

That's it... all CSS under cover. 2 plus cords here and 6 in the shed.

Looks good. Nice and neat. How well do those tarps hold up with the wind and snow

Tarps are rugged and I've got them doubled under so it'll help keep them from getting any punctures. They're clamped at both ends with 2x2's screwed into the 2x4's, pinching the tarp between them. I may add some narrow strips/pipes front to back, in 3 spots, to help keep the edge above the log ends lifted up.

I like the pitched roof effect. It makes so much sense to do it that way. Nothing worse than mosquito pools on a tarp.

Only reason I even thought of it was reading and seeing a lot of different ideas here. Really enjoy this forum.

Looks a like a good system, especially the pitch like Paul bunion said. I always got puddles and eventually leaky spots on my tarps cause I never thought to do that

No doubt. I want to create a pitch like that too. I go three rows and it's hard to do.. I may reconsider just going two..

Looks great Stinny! I would consider displacing a couple splits and camping in one of those stacks. What thickness did you go with..... 4 mil?

Thx WS. Ought to be able to answer that, but I don't know the thickness. I'd guess it's double standard tarp material, but I'm not sure. It's incredibly slippery compared to the green/blue stuff too. Snow slides off it like it's got a Teflon finish. UV protected too. Good stuff.

I really like the pitch on that also. That's a great idea to let the water or snow run off, yet it looks pretty simple. I'm going to have to try that!

nice stacks and racks. I like the arched top. I have done two rows and a "spine" down the middle - pieces perpendicular to stacks to shed water - but will now be switching after looking at stacks. Well done
