    I can remember working at the parts store in college. When slow we'd call rival parts stores and asking for a water pump for a bug.

    Or any part for an '83 Vette and insist it was an 83.

    Probably a couple more Im not remembering.

    A guy (know it all.....pest) that was in a car club we used to be in was a self-proclaimed expert on corvettes....as soon as he bought one!

    He kept suggesting we should buy a vette also.

    I told him I'm having trouble finding one.

    He said which one are you looking for?

    I told him anything from 1983...it's a special year for vette owners.

    He replied, I'll look for you and let you know.

    Never heard about buying a corvette from him again! :thumbs: :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:
