    Site has not given me any error messages for about a week. And I don't have issues with uploading pictures, so life is good and I want to thank everyone who has been working on the issues!

    My attempts to get in by bookmark says the memory bytes are over limit. I can get in through “new posts” or other history.

    I'm sorry, but I just have a hard time believing there are legitimately 20k+ people (non-members) in the world surfing the internet and interested in reading FHC right now...seems fishy to me.
    But that said, site is still working fine at the moment.

    I will say that it is amazing how many times FHC comes up during searches for anything remotely related to wood stoves, chainsaws, pellet stoves, even plumbing (on the DIY section). Not saying a lot of them aren't bots, just an observation on how people find this forum. In fact, I found it thru a search for something about chainsaws long ago.

    There must be a site distinction between online and logged-in.

    I think the numbers go down as the day progresses. Yesterday was over 20,000. Today it was over 31,000 guests.

    It's hard to keep all the bots out, we try our best though. The # of them trying to join the site is crazy. We are doing what we can.

    As.for blocking guests (namely BOTS) from looking at the site, the only way to do that is making the site totally private, which may have to happen eventually but that also will limit many from ever being able to find and/or join the site. And we all know we've picked up many good legitimate members that have become family here in recent years. So that too is a double-edged sword.

    The Bots took out Garth’s Brooks Third show… here in KC… it basically made ticket selling impossible… Now GB cancelled the third concert…
