I had the gutter installed on the eave of the sunroom this past week.

Also, add a couple heat runs (or "supply air" branches). 2 1/4" x 12" is what size would fit.

With cooler weather showing up this week, I'll find out just how well it heats or doesn't.

I have decided on a mini-split/heat pump but haven't ordered it yet. This one performs down to -22 F. I think it is rated at 75% efficient (heating mode) at -17 F. The weather should hold enough for a late season install.......I hope!

 

The Steller's sea eagle is endemic to eastern Asia and does not normally appear in the western hemisphere.

However, this individual, believed to be a female, wandered off course around 2021, and after visiting several American states and Canadian provinces, she was first spotted in NL in 2022, and in 2023 she settled in the very corner of the island that I call home, and remained ever since. 3 years later she seems very happy here, has drawn many a photographer, and even supports a small tour boat industry. There's value in a rare bird.

I've yet to get my own picture of her, but I have hopes for the future. I borrowed this photo.

 

I didn't forget, I just didn't post about it. I mentioned this to several people on 9/11.

 

chimney sweep day... I neglected doing it for a few years, time to find out how well the anti creosote spray worked on keeping creosote down.
I also didn't stay on top of using that as well as I probably should have. I attempted to remember to use it a lot more regularly to the end of this last season.

 

Might be time for an electric pressure washer. Sure you have to have electricity nearby, but that doesn't seem to have been as much of ane as I thought it might have been. Can use the Honda to re power some other equipment.

I bought a wireless LED motion light like that in 2020 when I built my wood shed. The thing is outside 24/7 and it still works great to this day. We had an outdoor fire on the patio last night, and it went on every time that one of the dogs went down by the shed. Not bad for $20.
