    We went to streaming and ditched DTV 3 or more years ago. It used to be cheap, but man prices have really went up. Of course we need the most expensive Hulu plan so everyone in the house is happy.

    I would call DTV every year and tell them I was cancelling to get a better rate for the next 12 months. It got old after years of doing it. The last time the best they would do was around $120. No idea where the price is now.

    I would be more than happy with something cheaper then what we currently have. I probably watch more YouTube than anything on TV. And if Hulu isn't enough, we also have prime video and Netflix.

    The low for tonight is 43, I'll be surprised if it gets that cold. Sure would be nice if my house was built.

    I'll be busy working on it all weekend.

    They just went up again to $188/month less the added fees. I think it was close to $210 once the fees hit? They were going to give use the same price as last year($160 ish) once we called to cancel. Said nope and sent all there stuff back. So far happy with Fubo and Philo for what we watch. Wife is more old westerns and crime drama's. I do Yankees and mostly science stuff. Not missing anything DTV except the monthly savings.

    We've got Prime thru our Amazon account, the cheap Netflix plan, and BritBox. Had a Disney+/Hulu/ESPN plan but wasn't finding much to watch on it so dumped it when the price increased a couple months ago. get Paramount+ and Peacock thru our WalMart+ and it lets us change back & forth every couple months.

    haven't been on for a while, Lori has had some medical issues this past summer, a long post for a later date.

    Pluto is a stream now pay never 100 plus channels, my ota gives me 41,LG gives me more including live TV it came with with my curved monitor,you know YouTube,*zon gives me movies,music,I also have a very large dnla server. The server has a lot of Old Time Radio shows. I have over 400 hours of videos. Along with, 7 or more radios.

    Yep, just no in between. except those two days that were so humid I had to keep my windows closed anyway. I've got the mini split going at night and early morning to keep the house warm enough for now. Actually had it on for about 48 hours straight because there was no sun and the temps were low during the day. Yesterday got to turn the MS off about 10am and didn't turn it back on until I was ready to turn in.

    Could definitely use some rain from that developing system but it may not make it this far north.

    Nah....I have one of those cheap 'Zon flat OTA antenna's mounted fixed on a wall and get 36 or 37 channels outta Charlotte......plenty. Plus, it's only for emergencies JIC everything else fails (the internet, the satellite).

    Yes he does , JT needs to aim things for the different markets he can reach. Need his Zip code at the very least as the map requires the antenna to be at 30 feet above ground. The map is accurate only when fed the correct location.

    Nah! Like Pete, I am only going to use for emergencies for the most part. We are good with streaming but might need to have a back up for when the internet goes down(mainly when power is out0 and need to catch the weather and local news). I did a lil test and I can grab CBS-NBC-Ion no problem. ABC is the only one I can't get and we really don't watch that much. Its on a different frequency(VHF) that my antenna doesn't get. I would need a UHF/VHF combo antenna. I can only catch UHF with the current antenna.

    I counted 16 some odd channels with the current antenna which should be fine. I might do the bear route if we decide to cut streaming, But highly doubt we would. Maybe just a test someday to keep options open??

    I don't pay for any streaming but you should get crap from several places if you can point. PBS is the only thing that gets duplicated. IT IS ALL CRAP.
