Beautiful sight

 

Got a firewood pro sizer for the 590. Bucked and split my oak log piles.

 

The guy I cut for PT wanted to buy me one or two of those but I declined. Curious as to how well and accurate it is.

 

So far it works great

Thanks. All red/white oak we'll burn in 28/29. Ill free up some bins this winter to stack it in.

Do you ever have trouble with your deck getting caught on obstacles?

 

Yea, I usually take the deck off for 3 point work and wood hauling but I needed it on for this week

 

Got after the last log left out of a big cherry blowdown I've been workin at since spring.

 

That's a good log. Gonna smell great while it's drying and burning

 

I like the trailer. I have a smaller "no name" one but would love a larger one. The part I worry about is price and if it will hold up. My current one was $25 used on Craigslist.

 

Been working on shooting lanes and trail clearing getting ready for fall. Dragged up a couple nice ash logs to work on later. This was 1 of 2 i brought out and have 2 more about that size to move still. Working on getting a loader but for now im real impressed what this garden tractor will skid out of the woods.

That's great, a little work horse for sure.

 

Cut up an ash that fell across our road today. Couple of nails in it but luckily didnt hit any.

 

Skidded out most of the rest of the ash logs back between my deer blinds and got some split and stacked. Piled up the rest of the logs for later.

 

Some nice logs. Meat looks pretty solid on them.
