I loaded up the Echo CS-4910 to cut up a little bit of the Fir that was along the road. Saw runs good but the chain was a little more grabby than I like. This $200 saw only has about 1/2 hour of run time and doesn’t like to be forced into the wood. Not much of a load but 70 and not in great cutting shape. First use of the LogOx and it seems to work well with this smaller wood. Also used a Logrite Milo Log Tong. When I first tried it, it was slipping off the rounds. I oiled it up and it’s sat a while between uses. Today it worked much better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes T.Jeff Veal has his ported and raves about it. I think there's a couple FHCers with the same. Eggshooterist maybe? I picked up an Echo 2511 top handle and a 620P this morning in a package deal. Both barely used. I tried a few cuts with the 2511 earlier and what a little terror for 25cc's. The chain was sharp and like yours it was a little grabby. Im VERY impressed. Just started the 620 and didn't put it to wood yet. Needs a sharpening. If the 4910 is anything like the 2511 I'm all over it for $250.
Get huskihl to port that 2511T, the difference is unbelievable. I ran our 2511T stock for awhile... Then after Xtra Sausage added...

Good load and nice and straight! I like your tools, care to share your opinions on the LogOx and the tongs?
First use with the LogOx but I tried it at home to lift some rounds and it latched on easily so I think it will work for that. I got a great deal off local marketplace so decided to try it out. The Logrite tongs I was disappointed when I first got them because they would slip off of the rounds (they were Alder rounds with smooth bark). I oiled it up at the joints and it sat for a while. It worked with the Fir rounds, maybe because of the rougher bark. I still like using the hooks on a piece of hose when moving things that are 16” to 18” but with the LogOx and Logrite tongs I don’t have to bend down as much. It isn't lazy, it is being smart! Bending over and picking things up aggravates my lower back after a while. I tried the fiskars log thongs. They work ok, but you have to grab the round or split just right. My favorite tool for this is the 30" Logrite hookaroon. Don't have to bend over at all. Helps unloading the truck too.
