I will be doing that within the next week or so; depending on my body.

Crazy day yesterday/ Had to go to hospital for c-scan. Got there just as it started to rain. People were scrambling and offices were closing. It turned out the county issued a tornado warning. That is without a tornado. I finally found the waiting room and went in. In a short time a nice lady came for me and did the test. Once done I headed out. I did stop long enough to look out the window. Then a security guy told me to go to a hallway or get out. Geeze, I stopped for maybe 15 seconds... Anyway I headed home. Rain stopped about halfway home (35 miles) and all was good. Did not see any damage or tree limbs down.

I do not agree with the county on issuing the warnings like they do. The reason is if one were to be sighted anywhere in the county, they put the entire county under a warning. It could be 60 miles east or NE of us which would mean it doesn't involve us. And when we think of the county lines, we are 4 miles from the west line and 4 miles from the south line. Every tornado I have seen in this area runs either straight east, NE, or SE. The communication lines don't run fast enough for us to receive any warnings in time so to me it is worthless. In addition, the way they give the warning for the county and they constantly give them, now many people just laugh at them. It's sort of like the guy who fakes that he is drowning and does this several times. Soon people stop paying attention to him.

    OK. Rant over.

Afternoon all. Really foggy this morning with it starting to clear off this afternoon.

Laundry, bookkeeping and getting ready for my children's class tomorrow.

Sawdust Man There is a new home construction happening below our house. They are working in much cooler condition than you even on a sunny day. It has been interesting watching the progress.

    Everyone have a great afternoon.

    Good morning, members.

Comfortable day 62⁰/73⁰ mostly sunny, chance of a shower or two. Humidity acceptable.

Our overnight visitors will be heading to Maine this morning. Saco area.

Looking forward to a few days of no road construction noises.

Not sure what's up for the day. Maybe head out for a bite somewhere.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning members, been under a heat advisory all week. The humidity has made it miserable. Other than that beautiful Labor Day weekend. Hope everyone is doing great. Got a birthday party and family over at my house today.

    Good morning.

    73/102..... just terrible.

Planning to go to an auction today....no telling what might follow us home.

    Have a blessed day everybody!

    Got em up....

Thanks folks for the nice words about our work, we try. :)

Also, much of the lumber we used on the trusses was really awful stuff, and it took a lot of adjusting to make it straight.

We are back to almost normal temps. We've had plenty of rain this week and even people's lawns are greening up. Now let's hope we don't get into a really wet period so the farmers can get the crops out. Its been a long time since we've had one of those wet falls when crops got drowned. We don't want another of those.

I am hoping to be able to do some outside work today.
