Brad, I am not buying anything, actually, I just like this thing and if I weren't starting to 'downsize,' I'd sure look close at this. But it would have to beat out a John Deere Gator. A used Gator can be had for the price of this thing. But, you do have to masintain an ICE with the Gator. My gas Gator has a fuel issue right now, gotta dig in, it won't start. Aargh! An electric one is appealing.

I always find it curious that new battery equipment is compared to older ICE equipment and then mentioning of maintenance on the ICE

I saw one toting a round bale. I'm skeptical.
Items that cannot be serviced have to be replaced.

    Right?! Apple n oranges.
And then there is the fact that once the EV needs a battery, that price is often prohibitive to making the change...so the vehicle ends up getting "beater with a heater" status.
Many people claim that it all pencils out in favor of the EV in the long run though...I dunno...I'm not there yet personally.

I agree; they definitely have uses and their place in the market; just not sure about longevity and how to make run when I need it!! BUT I am guy that went 23+ days on generator. So I appreciate electricity.. Also live in the north/rural environment
Batteries they say get sick in heat and die in the cold
