I was shocked when I saw this on AS this morning, I thought it was a joke. He received his share of ribbing there (which led to his user name here) but he had some impressive saw hauls in the past year. RIP.
Terrible news... great guy. He made a nifty seal installer that I planned on buying from him. Now I'll just use his design in his memory. RIP, man.
May our Heavenly father watch over you and protect your family! The lord watches over his children though we may not see it and ALL of you are proving that right now! Thank you all for being a great community and coming together for a lost brother! Phil will be missed by many. I hope his family will see how much you all care and be touched by Gods hands!
I didn't know him, never had a PM with him, but read a lot of his posts here. And like most everyone here, that is all it takes to feel like you really know someone. God bless him and his family.
Another member brought this link to my attention. http://www.pressrepublican.com/news/article_53878d9a-4e23-11e4-96bc-f3d890c7791d.html?mode=jqm
There is new info posted there. So was he driving a tractor with a spreader or was he driving a truck? It says both?
Sounded like a standup guy, and for sure a sense of humor. I'm raising a beer for you tonight Phil - godspeed
Does it honestly matter? Me too.. In honor of him!! God bless his wife and family. . We never know when it's gonna be our turn. This is a pic from somewhere else. But so people know who we are talking about. He was a good guy, with good morals, and a great friend to many! He is the one on the left.
And I on the left. Losing a best friend sux so if you have a best friend, tell them you love them..... Often
Good pic of Phil right there eh? Note to all: The 661 raffle saw has been procured and paid for... I'm sure Randy will start a thread on it as he is building it.. Stay tuned.. Hang tough Jeremy... Take care of Mrs. Wookie for us..
