    was 85ºF this afternoon with brown skies all day.
    smoke is supposedly coming all the way from the west coast.
    65 degree dew point.

    Terrible. Fortunately for us, we only had around a week of bad smoke. They kept forecasting more but thankfully the Lord answered our prayer.

    63 this morning. More fog.

    Sometimes it is high up in the atmosphere and not too thick, just enough to cut back on solar input. When it gets pulled down to the ground my eyes water more than I can really smell it usually, but sometiumes the smell is pretty bad.

    We have been fortunate. Only a few really bad smoke days and they were a while ago. There is really no need for ANY bad smoke days with a little prevention.

    Since the day with the most daylight hours (21 Jun 26) we've "lost" almost an hour and 40 minutes of daylight.
