    Good morning. Stepped outside and noticed the smoke is back. We were clear of it for a few days. The closet fire to our properties up north is only about 30 miles as the crow flies. There was a little rain two days ago, but a lot more is needed.

    Good morning, members.

    Should be a nice day. 68⁰/80⁰ muggy to start but lowering dewpts. Smoky air moves south of us for a day or two.

    We did have some rain yesterday and overnight. Could use more. Next chance is Tuesday.

    I'll forgo a morning walk and deal with a few things in the yard.

    The RedSox have won 12 in a row. Attempt at lucky 13, is this afternoon.

    I can't imagine having to deal with traffic like that on a daily basis! :faint:

    A little over a week ago, I made an early menards run....I wanted to be there when they opened at 6. I drove almost 45 minutes before I met another vehicle! :thumbs:

    Morning everyone, we are FINALLY out of the smoke for a couple days. Weather lady say's it'll be back around Tuesday so I'm gonna enjoy taking a clean sea breeze breath of air. Looking at 85º today, better than the +95º we've been having. :picard: Everyone have a good day, I gotta give my Truck a good bath today, some of the local Sea going birds :vulture: used it for target practice the last couple days! :headbang::headbang::mad:

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 73⁰ and clear, heading towards 94⁰. I'm on my days off now till Friday evening. Going to church this morning, then probably get a short nap. This evening at church we're having an ice cream social and watch an episode of The Chosen.
    Had an unusual visitor to Goat Town this morning as I came in from work...

    Yesterday's cemetery search was a success. We knew where the homeplace was, but had to walk and look for the graveyard.
    It is in this area under here...

    G morning :coffee: The sun is shining, 18 mph breeze giving a wind chill temp of 52°;
    Wife and daughter have on hoodies trimming bushes for next house project, no smoke here unless I created it .75” of rain yesterday in mostly slow and steady all day type..

    I read TJV post and my brain says how do you find gravestone under 3 feet snow? Then I remember not in Georgia state

    Morning all. Overcast with breaks in the cloud cover. Sunshine predicted for today.

    Chores, bookkeeping, vacuuming the church on the agenda for today. Might even watch the Blue Jays lose again.

    MikeInMa I don't think the Blue Jays have won two in row for the last little while.
    T.Jeff Veal In the old days of cemetery searching, people would take graphic rubbings of the gravestones. Phone cameras are so handy. I am glad the search was successful.
