I asked my wife today, what would you prefer, woodstove or AC. I've always been in the woodstove camp, and she agrees. My opinion comes from working outdoors almost 45 years. It was always easier to warm up than cool down. It's 100 here today. I have to admit, the humidity seemed not as bad as expected. With that said, we stayed indoors for the most part.
Yesterday's high was 82. Much better. We did also get some rain, which was needed. But it came fast. I hope the wheat stayed upright. It can be nasty getting wheat cut that is down. 70 now.
54 now. Just a few miles sway it's 50. Slept a little better over night. Indoor temps fell to 68 with windows open. AC this afternoon, probably.
Sorry you east coast guys are getting hammered. 77* today and 84* tomorrow. Air conditioning is on. No burning around here lately except black powder (fireworks).
