    I tried to keep my fingers and was successful. I wasn't going to get anything this year, for a few reasons. But of course my oldest bought a bunch. Mum wouldn't let him light any of them. After years of close calls, I have a rule now, only cakes. They seem to be the safest option.

    The smoke has been really bad along with air quality. The last few days looks like a movie where the world ends.

    Our worstest day was Wednesday, Sky was orange. Felt like mars and smelt like he11!! A bit better yesterday and almost no smell this morning. We need rain!!
