I need some bullchittin time with resting in the chair! I YiYi! I’ve been out weedeating after my walk/run this morning. Managed to get about 6 miles in. Then had breakfast and did two hours of chores and weedeating. How have all you hoarders been? I see the bullchittin has continued well.

Sorry, typo - 30" is what I measured my stove to be. I would bet money that the cabinets on either side of that stove are 11" (I have one of those) or even up to 14" (I have one of those) each. But, even if they were only 8" (rare - I have one of those too), that makes for a total of 46" width between the counters.

I'm not petite, and I'm not tall (less than 5'6") - the way I dress hides things and people are always assuming that I am much smaller, leaner and weigh much less than I do. I'm not saying I'm large, but I'm not slender either.

I guess I don't know anyone that has a larger/wider kitchen than with a 4-4.5' aisle so it seems plenty big to me.

That would be me. A kitchen at 4-4.5 feet in width would involve a lot more bumping into.

And that's with only 2 people. Have a GTG and at least double that number in the kitchen! :picard:

Good to "see" you. I spose you have a different tractor by now?

You took a good time to stay away as the forum had been rendered useless a number of times......:picard:

My guess on that kitchen is it is an L chape kitchen and that is an island in front of it. Yes color choices for flooring seems odd. Having built, remodeled And redesigned 40 kitchens my rule 5 ‘ between counter tops.

kitchens are heart of a home
My mother had that sign in her kitchen yooperdave

Our kitchen is like 8' wide or deep. However you want to measure that. That's after the countertops and fridge, stove etc.

It's all over the place in this state. 3.75 where I live, but under 3.50 / gal in most of the state. I'll be gassing up the truck near lake Winnebago where it's currently 3.47/gallon instead of nearly 30 cents more a gallon here. When you can save $10 a fill up just by getting gas where you're already going, I will. I've been using my grocery store gas points too, usually 40-50 cents a gallon less. Put those together and that's 25+ dollars saved a fill up.

But as gas prices keep dropping, I'm only putting in what I need, and makes sense. Those grocery gas points expire at the end of each month too, so it's a little game. Premium for the bike dropped too, down to 4.20 a gallon for 93.

Thanks. What in the world would make you think I have a different tractor already? o_O

I did see on a few occasions there were “issues”. But I’ve been spending much less time on forums. Been kinda busy.

Still problems with putting images in?

We have 6' between kitchen sink and island. Frequent traffice jams by the fridge/sink area. Just 3 people and the dog but somehow we all end up right there in those few square feet.

This is my kitchen. Needs more work of course, but it's functional. Not how I'd put together a brand new house, but it was the best I could come up with for this old house without moving more plumbing and electrical than I can justify.
