Good Morning. We took the grandchildren and our daughter to Disney and Clearwater beach this past week. It sure has been hot!

Coming inside to survive the heat is much harder for me to deal with than -20f . Heat index here has hit 110.

They are having a great time. I am too, but not in the same way they are.



One highlight for me was swimming with the grandson yesterday evening when a dolphin surfaced twice as it swam through about 20’ away. He told his Mom he saw an orca.

It's a different climate, for sure. I'd have just as hard a time with the cold. Ya'll were about 8-9 hrs south of us.

We are about 10 miles from home this weekend, camping at the local RV resort.

 

Made Smurf pancakes this morning (blue food coloring) and I'm out the door in about 10 minutes with my daughter to go to Parlor Frank as she says (Harbor Freight) to buy something I don't need and to buy anything she wants. I'm going to steer clear of the generators.

Beautiful weekend so far. Got the windows and the doors open letting some air in.

Morning all. Gorgeous sunrise this morning. I think it is going to be sunny day today. Not too warm as it is still pretty windy.

Our daughter and husband are on a kayak trip and I have a feeling this wind has changed their travel route plans.
The three dogs are getting along well. Lily was a little intimidated at first but she adjusted. She eats her meal very slowly and the other two are very fast so they stand and watch every mouth she eats. It is funny watching the other two.

Middle daughter and her family (2 grandsons) going home, oldest daughter (2 granddaughters, 1 grandson) coming over for the day. More swimming and cooking, probably. Quiet and peaceful this morning.

Morning all Overcast, misty and calm out there today. It should clear off pretty soon.
Took campinspecter out for breakfast this morning. Now he is doing laundry. I hope it dries up outside so I can mow lawns today. I don't know if I will have energy to do brush cutting and chipping as well.

T.Jeff Veal I was searching for a Father's day verse for our Father's Day handout at church yesterday and I totally missed that one. It is perfect. I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day weekend.
